Tax Talk for Creative and Independent Workers
Tuesday, December 16:
7pm-8pm, on Zoom
This presentation is led by Mary Simpson, Interlude alum and a writer, artist, and activist. Mary has worked as a bookkeeper for 16 years, and is a former volunteer with the IRS-certified VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program, helping low-income people file their taxes. This event is a donation-based benefit for The Hope Line, a nonprofit in the Bronx serving low-income families who face food and diaper insecurity.
