“Interlude thought of so many details to nourish our time as residents: cooking meals for us, arranging community studio visits, suggesting day camp for childcare, while also recognizing that we needed autonomy and time and space to make our work. I left with renewed energy and investment in projects that will last me the rest of this year in my studio at home. But leaving my time at Interlude with new friends who connect and honor what it means to be a parent and an artist—this will last my lifetime.”
